      Hay bath

The hay bath was invented centuries ago by the South Tyrolean farmers to alleviate pains after a long working day on the fields. The bath was revised and corrected in modern times, by now it’s one of the most known and loved treatments among alpine wellness treatments. During this “bath” the patient lays down into a tub full of mountain hay and stays there for about half an hour, sweating in order that the body could be profoundly purified.

For this reason the hay bath is highly recommended to cure cellulitis and osteoarticular problems, while people with problems with the circulatory system should consult a doctor before doing this kind of bath. The hay bath can be made by both women and men.
