      Refreshing foot bath

      A refreshing foot bath is advisable in summer time, not just after sports but also in order to relieve the feeling of swelling typical of this season, especially for women who stay a long time high heeled. This refreshing foot bath tones up also muscles and limbers with tensions. An easy foot bath is prepared by boiling water and adding mint leaves. Leave it then into infusion and when the water is lukewarm you have to filter it and immerse yourself in the bath for about 20 minutes.


      A further easy and effective recipe is to boil water and add 3 spoons of bicarbonate, a handful cooking salt, camomile, thyme leaves and mint. Filter everything and keep the feet for 20 minutes in the bath. The salt and bicarbonate have also a deodorant and anti-bacterial effect.
